moment. Reminder: after s, sh, c, ch, z, r, the i is a buzzed continuation of the consonant.

to go. The q is pronounced like a 'ts' with an explosion of air and with the top middle part of the tongue like the x.

le :
modal particle indicating that the situation is new (change of situation). See the grammar. The e is pronounced very open.
méi :
negation (in a past context). This chinese character has already been seen in lesson 2 in the expression méi guānxi "Never mind".
liǎng :
number "two" for the time and quantities (see grammar).
wèi :
Hey ! (telephone greeting)
