Learn Chinese: writing the characters of lesson 1
A ballpoint pen and a sheet of squared paper are enough to learn to write Chinese characters.
To start with, though, it is best to use writing grids with templates.

Please choose the character stroke order style:
Stroke order:
Components: 亻 man, 冖 roof, 小 small.
Stroke order:
Components: 女 women, 子 child.
Stroke order:
Components: 亻 human, 也 viper or vase.
Stroke order:
Components: 口 mouth, 马 horse.
Stroke order:
Components: 口 mouth, 尼 phonetic component ne / ni.
Stroke order:
Components: 不 is composed of four fundamental strokes (horizontal, falling leftwards, vertical, falling rightwards). But 不 is not in the list of 214 radicals. However, it is a basic graphic element. It is for this reason that some teachers speak of a "graphic element" rather than a "radical".

Components: 扌 hand, 戈 halberd.
Stroke order:
Components: 彳 a step, 艮 phonetic element "gen": the chinese characters formed with this component end in "en".
Stroke order:
Components: 一 one, 冉 falling hairs.
Stroke order:
Components: 见 is a graphic component.
The character for 'thank you' xièxie 谢谢 is quite complicated, it will be studied in a future lesson.
