今天，同學們正在教室裡學習，準備下星期的考試。班長忽然跑進來，大聲說：“通知大家一個好消息，今年的法語老師來了！”同學們高興得跳了起來，班長又說：“而且，一會兒就來給我們上課。” 班長剛剛說完，就看到一個高大帥氣的外國人站在了教室門口。他敲了敲門，很有禮貌地問：“我可以進來嗎？”。同學們看著他，都變得害羞起來，安靜地看著他走了進來。
“大家好！我是你們新來的法語老師，我是一名法國人，看我的鼻子大家也許猜到了吧！” 他還沒說完，同學們就笑開了。 “我的中文名字叫李白。不是皮膚白的原因，因為我知道李白很有名，所以我肯定大家不會忘記我。”他有趣地自我介紹，讓大家都活潑起來了。
他繼續用他流利的普通話說，“我在中國生活三年了，我的專業是漢語，希望通過我們共同的努力，有一天，你們每一個人，都能說非常標準的法語，像我一樣。”
