Study the standard sentences by following these steps:
- You must be able to read them aloud, and understand them. Reading aloud trains your reading comprehension and your pronunciation.
- The next exercise consists of writing the Chinese standard sentences and translating them into English, without looking at the translation.
- The last exercise is to write in Chinese from English, it is the most difficult. When you get there without error, the "traditional writing" section can be considered as achieved.
