There are two traditional characters for 里 lǐ "in": 裡 used in Taiwan and 裏 used in Hong Kong. In reality, the two characters are composed of 里 + the component of the garment, 衤 on the left and 衣 split in two, above and below 里. In this course, we will mainly use the Taiwan variant 裡.
